Welcome to Preschool Literacy Consultants!
We are a unique training company focused on providing professional development services for preschool teachers and management. Our teamwork approach enables us to work collaboratively with all of our preschool customers. With several years of experience in many areas, we provide solutions formed from our differing backgrounds. Many of the preschools we serve are in communities with diverse ethnic backgrounds, and our services and products are designed to compliment multicultural preschool-aged childrens' literacy experiences. Our services include classroom observations, curriculum support, a management survey, communication analysis, and research-based professional development workshops.
Our Mission
In order for preschools to optimize the success of their programs, it is essential that strong language and literacy initiatives become a goal. Literacy development is essential to the growth of the child and ultimately benefits families, schools, and communities. It is our mission to enhance preschool programs by building literacy continuums that will positively impact student achievement in reading, writing, speaking, listening and viewing (the core components of literacy). Our group is committed to helping preschools develop highly successful literacy programs that will dramatically impact the students and communities they serve. Preschool Literacy Consultants (PLC) is a group of professionals who bring a wealth of experience and talent in teaching, administration, fine arts, marketing and finance. We are devoted to helping preschool students establish a strong foundation in literacy and a love of learning!
